Job title: Email Newsletter Curator: Music & Fashion

Position Overview:

  • Daytrip is seeking a creative and music-savvy writer to join our team. This role will be responsible for crafting compelling weekly newsletters that resonate with our subscribers and customers. The content will expand beyond product promotion and aim to provide useful insight about events, music news and more.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Curate and create engaging email newsletter content, ensuring a consistent and appealing tone that aligns with our brand identity.

  • Research information on upcoming events, new music releases, artist spotlights, festivals, and other relevant content.

  • Develop creative and attention-grabbing subject lines to maximize open rates and reader engagement.

  • Manage an email marketing schedule, ensuring timely delivery of newsletters.

  • Analyze email campaign performance metrics (open rates, click-through rates, etc.) and use insights to optimize future campaigns.

  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in email marketing to implement innovative strategies and techniques.

 

Qualifications:

  • Pursuing a degree in journalism, marketing, communications, music business, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).

  • Proven interest in email marketing and content creation.

  • Ability to work with Mailchimp and develop a proficiency in the analytic tools of the platform.

  • Must have strong writing skills and ability to respond well to feedback and edits.

  • Passion for music and fashion, with an eye for trends in both industries.

Job Title: Order Packing Associate

Pay: $20.00/hour. 6 hours/week

Location: Boulder, Colorado

Position Overview:​

  • Daytrip is looking for a detail-oriented Order Packing Associate to send out orders to our online customers. This is a fairly independent role, with an ability to choose your own hours. The role is esponsible for packing items according to order specifications, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting our fulfillment process.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Order processing: review and print customer order packing slips.

  • Order prepping: ensure all items are in stock and ready to be shipped our.

  • Order Fulfillment: Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring that items are correctly assembled, packaged, and labeled.

  • Quality Assurance: Perform quality checks on products before packaging to guarantee they meet company standards and customer expectations.

  • Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy by monitoring stock levels, reporting discrepancies, and organizing merchandise within the warehouse.

  • Shipping Coordination: Collaborate with shipping carriers to arrange pickups and ensure timely delivery of packages.

  • Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain a clean and organized work area to facilitate efficient order processing and a safe working environment.

 

Qualifications:

  • Ability to work independently to fulfill orders.  

  •  Must have a car and a way to get to/from our Boulder office.

  • Good communication skills and ability to collaborate.

  • Physical ability to lift and move packages as needed.
